Place Pins launches
On November 20, 2013, Pinterest released their new Foursquare-powered Place Pins, an easy way for users to organize trips, document where they have been, and plan out where they would like to go in the future.
Pinterest has designed this to give users a way to showcase their gorgeous photos while documenting and advertising where they were when they took the photo, or where it is they want to travel.
Features of Place Pins
- Includes the address and phone number of the place
- Place Pins can be accessed on Android and iPhone devices for easy access
- Simple way to keep track of where you may want to go (again) because all you have to do is pull up the pin and the place’s info is right there

Place Boards
You also have the option of creating a Place Board, an entire board filled with you pins, dedicated to one, particular place. To make your own Place Board is very easy. All you do is Add a map when creating a new board, or you can Edit a current board and click the Add a map option.
